Catalog Requirements

The Option-Cart Catalog requires a web host that gives PHP 5.3.0 and mySQL 5.0.67 or higher (earlier versions are not supported but may work - current versions recommended), and phpMyAdmin for database uploads. You must have a web host that provides PHP and mySQL.

OptionCart products work on both Windows servers and Linux/Unix servers, provided they have PHP 5.3.0+ and mySQL 5.0.67+ installed.

Please note that the inventory control system in the Deluxe Catalog requires the Mals-E Remote Call feature. Therefore, inventory control and sales storage through OptionCart will not be automated on any web site that uses third party payment systems that do not utilize this feature, which include but are not limited to LinkPoint, Mirapay, Netbanx, Nochex, PayByCheck and PSIGate. A list of these systems can be found at Mals-E. PayPal users can utilize the inventory control feature if this system is set up as a non-secure payment type as described in the support documents.

Please note that we cannot guarantee that any host has the necessary requirements to run OptionCart scripts. Please contact your web host with the script requirements to make sure the system will work on your web server.
